CHALLENGES

• Documents were being double handled so that they could be made centrally available
• There were limitations with the maximum file size when uploading documents directly to Unity
• Old and out-dated documents were accessible even though there was a new version available
  

BENEFITS

Using the FYB CM2Unity has provided the Council with the following benefits:

• Increased flexibility for larger file sizes when uploading documents to Unity
• Ability to control and delegate permissions for publishing, ensuring the Council is maintaining governance over its information
• Streamlined the publication process of documents to Unity

IMPLEMENTATION

Mount Barker District Council have been an FYB Support Member since 2014. The Council were seeking a tool to assist with the publication of documents from Content Manager to Unity and approached FYB to see if they could assist with providing a solution.

FYB developed CM2Unity working with the Local Government Association of South Australia and with input from local Council’s, including Mount Barker District Council.
